We use only all-natural rooster feathers that are sourced from a single farm. All roosters providing the feathers for XEX’s feather extensions are treated ethically. We also ensure that the highest quality feathers found anywhere in the world are used. The feathers are washed with a 100% inert (non-toxic) detergent, and then dyed with an organic, mineral-based dye.
Fusion is another form of bonding which can last 3-5 months with upkeep. Individual strands of hair are bonded at the base of the client’s head using an adhesive heat gun. For the most natural looking results, up to 3+ hairs are used.

To attach Clip-In Extensions, the stylist works with the hair on a track/weft. Sectioned areas of a client’s head track are placed neatly on sections and secured with tiny clips, two on each end and one in the middle.
