5 Men’s Hairstyles for Summer 2015

With summer upon us, it’s time for new hairstyles. Shorter hair is the norm during the summer months, but not for anyone. Hair trends for men this summer are classic, but diverse. Below are our top five picks.

Fringe

If you don’t want to go too short with your hair this summer, the fringe is a good option. Keep the sides tight and the top a little longer and you’ll have an easy to manage look for the warm summer months. The fringe can get a little warm though, so take note of that when deciding on your summer look.

Buzz Cut

Short and simple, the buzz cut is classic. When it’s worn well it’s a strong, masculine look. Check with your XEX stylist to see if your face shape will work well with the buzz cut. More rounded faces may be better suited for a different hairstyle.

Slick Back

Want a longer hair style for the summer? The slick back look has been popular recently and continues to be popular this summer. It takes a little more effort that many mens hair styles, but it’s worth it.

Like the fringe, it’s best if the sides and back are kept pretty tight to give the style a more dramatic look.

Relaxed Quiff

If you have wavy or curly hair, the relaxed quiff is a great look. It’s loose and playful, but still very stylish. With curly hair you often need to use more product than those with straight hair to get your desired style. In the summer, heat and humidity can make sculpted styles tough to manage. The relaxed quiff gives you a great style that requires very little product.

Simple Casual

It’s about as traditional of a hairstyle as you can get, but it works. The simple casual look is easy to manage and suitable for any environment. Just add a little gel or cream and brush your hair and you’re all set.
